The Payroll and Personnel System is designed for salaried, hourly, contract, full-time or part-time employees. Once an employee is set up, they get paid each period automatically if salaried and hourly employees get paid if a time record is entered. Payroll updates job cost if a job code is entered on a time record and general ledger based on the GL account number entered when an employee is set up.

To assist management in planning to achieve overall productivity goals, the Payroll System does more than just process payroll:

Maintains cumulative payroll data by month-to-date, quarter-to-date, calendar year-to-date and fiscal year-to-date on each employee

Permits entry of time records for each employee to be paid, with display and validation procedures

Generates automatic pay for salaried personnel

Calculates federal, state and local taxes plus fifteen voluntary deductions

Generates current earnings, current deduction and tax audit report for each employee paid
Prints payroll checks with all year-to-date deductions, hours and earnings for regular, overtime, vacation and sick leave printed on the check stub
Prints payroll register with current earnings and deductions
Prints monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports such as FICA and FIT, State and Local tax, FUI and SUI
Prints W2 forms
Handles pre-tax earnings and/or deductions such as tax sheltered retirement plans
Processes hand(manual) and voided checks
Directs entries to the general ledger
On demand reports can be generated, such as payment history by paycode for workmans comp audit, or check history by employee by pay period. You enter the 'from' and 'to' dates.
