Pricing of the PROMPT Business System software package is based on the number of users. The base price of the software is $1,000 for a five user license.

To increase the users from five to a maximum of ten users costs an additional $1,000.   To increase the users from ten to a maximum of twenty users costs an additional $1,000.

If you desire to add users after a license has been purchased you only pay for the additional users. For example if you purchase a five user license for $1,000 and decide later to go to the maximum user license of twenty you pay $2,000 to add the additional fifteen users.

A user and a session mean the same thing. For example you might have only five people on five workstations that use PROMPT but each of these five people want the ability to operate two sessions simultaneously. To accomplish this you would need a ten-user license.

The VGA monitor on the server can be used as a workstation. Most of the PROMPT customers use the server as one workstation, however, this is not a requirement and it is possible that the server be used only as a console.
